Still Waters Distillery is stepping into a new chapter, led by distillers Kelly and Lucas. We took ownership from the Barrys with one clear goal: protect what made Still Waters special, and build what comes next with more consistency, more intention, and better whisky.

That work starts behind the scenes. We’ve strengthened how we operate day to day, improved barrel storage and handling, introduced new finishing techniques, and built an aging program that supports other distilleries as well. At the same time, we’re widening access to great Canadian whisky—making premium bulk whisky available to distillers across Canada and partnering with people we respect to produce spirits that deliver real value.

And that brings us to the idea that sits at the heart of where we’re going.

THE LEGEND OF BUCK HILL
Buck Hill began as a quiet whisper out of Barry’s Bay—an old tale of a man who walked the forest by lantern light, chasing something he couldn’t name, but refused to give up on. We took that spark of folklore and made it our own: a symbol of the unknown ahead, and the pull to keep going.

That’s the spirit we’re building Still Waters around going forward. Every grain we choose and every bottle we fill is part of the pursuit—patient, deliberate, and unwilling to settle. We move with purpose, always looking for the next moment of clarity, and the next great whisky waiting to be discovered.
